Switching into high gear……

At a friend’s lavish wedding, Harley McLain and her twin sister, Charity, meet sexy stock-car driver Cooper Brickman. The more reserved Harley is immediately smitten—until he hits on her twin. But Harley has had enough of being the “nice” girl, and after trading dresses with Charity, she seduces Cooper for a night of wild sex.

……ready for a hot lap.

What was supposed to be a one-night fling gets complicated when Cooper needs a nanny to look after his kid sister—and is convinced sweet, dependable Harley would be perfect for the job. She can’t resist the money—or Cooper’s hot bod. But when her deception is revealed, will it destroy her dependable image—or will he finally realize how sexy sweet can be?

I’m surprised that for a series that was slowly going downhill, this final book ended on a good note. I’m giving this book four red hearts because it gave me two stories in one book.

First, the whole twin-swap between Harley and Charity may have started out wrong, but it ended being funny and sweet. I like Charity. She’s this sexy, liberated twin who secretly just wants a guy to take her seriously. Wait, not a guy. A man. She wants Jeff but he acts as if he does not see her at all. Little does she know, Jeff has had his eye on her for a while now.

Harley is the serious twin who excels as a nanny. I like how she was able to deal with Mary Jane and helped enrich the relationship between Cooper and Mary Jane. I just did not like her over-the-top insecurity against her twin. Her drama during Shawn’s bachelorette party was just short of annoying. Fortunately, the twins were able to reconcile right away, thanks to Shawn.

Cooper was a bit of an airhead. Seriously, the whole twin-swap was his fault, in the first place. I mean, who the hell talks to one twin for a good amount of them and then automatically turns on the flirtation the minute the other twin comes? Yep. No wonder Harley decided to have sex with him as Charity, because really, he would neveer have noticed her if it had been any other way. And he fell in love with her not because she was beautiful or because he found her hot. He fell in love with her because she looked like Charity with Harley’s great personality and character. Not really a good basis for a good relationship for me.

Anyway, we’re finally at the finish line, folks. I hope you’ve all enjoyed reading the series as much as I did. From here on, I can see myself reading other books from this author because even if the last few books in the series kind of bombed for me, I still like the whole series as a whole, not to mention that the first few books were really out of this world.
