“If you’re looking for the full deal, the till-death deal, then look at me. No one’s ever going to love you, stick by you, understand how you work the way I do.”

Review

I love almost all of Nora Roberts’ books, even the ones she wrote under J.D. Robb.

This series, is one of my favorites.

I find this particular book a fitting ending to the series. Parker has always seemed to be the strongest and fiercest among the four. Between Mac’s lost soul, Emma’s romantic heart, and Laurel’s drive, Parker is just the go-to person, for anything.

I didn’t really like Malcolm at first. I initially pictured Parker being swept off her feet with an overdose of romance that the practical woman she is gets scared out of her wits. But then, I liked how their love story evolved.

At the end of the book, I couldn’t see any other man for her but Malcolm.

I will miss these four women. I liked their friendship, their quirks, their drama, and most of all, their humor. I don’t know how many more times I will come back to reading this book, but I can definitely see myself visiting their stories every now and then.

“When you find somebody you love, all the way through, and she loves you—even with your weaknesses, your flaws, everything starts to click into place. And if you can talk to her, and she listens, if she makes you laugh, and makes you think, makes you want, makes you see who you really are, and who you are is better, just better with her, you’d be crazy not to want to spend the rest of your life with her.”
