Review

I receieved a reviewer’s copy of this book from Xpresso Book Tours in exchange for an honest review.

The premise of this book is not at all that common. I mean, I really haven’t read anything about gods and other mythological beings being incorporated into contemporary romance, unless it’s a YA adventure novel. That goes without saying that I find the whole concept of this series to be refreshing.

I liked this book. Apollo was your typical god who would take anything he wants, regardless of how he gets it. The heroine was a likeable character, even if I found some flaws with her. There were things I wish to have been written better or given a better scenario. However, overall, it was a good book that entertained me till the very end.

I’m going to be watching out for the next book in this series because it’s really something that you’d like to read and keep track of. For a first book, Lover, Divine does a good job of getting readers hooked and looking forward to the next installments. Kudos to the author in advance because this series is definitely looks very promising.
