Review

I received a reviewer’s copy of this book from Lola’s Blog Tours in exchange for an honest review.

Promises Under The Peach Tree is a sweet little second-chance love story of two people who had a beautiful love story when they were young until circumstances tore them apart. When the heroine went back to their hometown, their love story is given another chance to grow.

For a category romance, this book is truly sweet without being cheesy. Plus, there’sa sub story going on with the hero’s niece and a guy she likes as well as the hero’s brother who is having marriage problems.

I liked this book because even if it was a category romance, it covered a lot of ground and did not spend the whole book talking about just the hero and the heroine. It also showed a side to the secondary characters that made me want to know more about them too.

I am going to give this book three red hearts because I liked its sweetness, and I have a thing for small towns and the stories that grow from there. I also liked the subplot and the people in Heartache that the author introduced me to.
