I received an ARC of this book from CBB Book Promotions in exchange for an honest review.

I liked the cuteness and the sweetness of this book. The heroine was a really nice girl who was also strong and kind. I think she did a good job in moving on with her life when her best friend, who also happens to be the boy she loved, left her right after graduating high school.

As for the hero, it was a bit difficult to like him. He was a coward. That’s why he wasn’t able to tell the heroine his feelings back in high school. Then, he was an idiot for forcing his marriage to work even when it was wrong before it even happened. I think he got off easily, and I would have wanted him to work harder in winning the heroine.

All in all, this book is a light, entertaining read that’s about second chances, starting a family, and taking responsibilities seriously. It’s also about staying true to your heart and not being afraid of going after someone you love. It’s a good book to read if you’re looking for some easy read to pass the time.
