Review

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley is exchange for an honest review.

The first time read book 1, I thought it was a mediocre book. However, when I read it again, that’s when I appreciated the story and the conflict on it. Aside from that, the first book introduced me to the second book’s hero who, for me, is one of my favorite men, so far.

Beneath These Chains is the third book in the series, with Lord as the hero and Elle as the heroine. It was similar to Con and Vanessa in a sense that it was wealthy versus poor, but the similarity stops there. Lord is a good hero. His chemistry with Elle is very obvious. Even when they acted annoyed at each other, the sparks we’re undeniable.

I liked this book because of the story line. I mean, since this is the third book I’ve read from Ms. March, I already know what to expect. However, there is always that unexpected x factor in her books that always entertains me. I always end up wanting to read her book again right after I just finished reading it.

Con is still my favorite hero in this series. However, Lord is a very, very close second. I will certainly recommend this book any romance reader. If you’ve read any of the first two books, there is no reason at all for you to miss this book. If you haven’t, it’s okay because this book can be read on its own. However, I’m sure that you will end up going back to the previous books because you will want to relive the journey again and again.
