Review

I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Did you think love was clean and pure and strong? Did you think love was only for those who lived for other people? Of course not. We all know love is more than that. But are you really prepared to read about a kind of love that sounds hopeless, selfish, dangerous, unforgivable? If you have a faint heart, if you want heroes and heroines, then this book isn’t for you.

Stalker is a dark unconventional book where both the hero and the heroine are the complete opposite of what a book’s hero and heroine should be. There is no redeeming factor in either of them. Throughout the book, you will love and hate them both with equal intensity. It is because of this that I found the book fascinating. Clarissa Wild has successfully written two characters that would normally turn off readers and have made them into characters that you mayblove or hate but you will keep reading on about.

When I started this book, I deliberately did not expect a happy ending. However, what I got was a good one and definitely what the characters deserved. I won’t tell you if it was happy or not, but I will say that it is what you hoped it will be. The mystery and suspense part was revealed and resolved well.

This book is definitely not for everybody, but if you are brave enough to read it, then you are on for a wild time. I suggest to get Killer, the prequel novella because it will introduce you to the characters and will give you a deeper understanding of how the story started.
