Review

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

As an addition to a series that’s already ranging from hit to sweet, Two Nights With His Bride is a good installment for series fans to read. The story as a whole is clean. There are no explicit sex scenes, but there is the occasional swear word or two. The chemistry between the main characters was great.

I did have a few issues about some details, but they were pretty much minor things. First, the heroine said she had casting couch experience but that she did not want her fiance to find out about it. However, this said fiance was Aldo the producer, so I would think that he is no stranger to casting couches anyway.

Story-wise, it was a good friends-to-lovers romance with a side of a runaway bride drama to add spice to you sweet. I didn’t start liking the heroine until after she left her manipulative fiance and his awful family.

It’s sad that many women actually have the same situation as the heroine in this book. They are trapped in a relationship that is no longer good for them. They settle because they think it is what they deserve. They don’t think that there is still something better out there waiting for them.

To all women, you deserve to be treasured and treated like the queens that you are. If your man is failing at this, let him know and make sure he doesn’t forget that again.
