Review

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I think I’ve mentioned a few times that I like small towns. I think about half of the books I’ve read are set in small towns. The heroine in this book is making a comeback to her hometown called Harmony because she wanted to help with her stepsister’s pregnancy and build a relationship with that sister as well.

As a whole, this book is solid. The story is nice. The intent is nice. However, it was quite difficult to fall in love with the main characters. The heroine sounded immature at times. The hero was a bit flat. There was nothing about the two of them that stood out and separated them from other heroes and heroines from other books.

I think my biggest issue with the book is the way that the characters were created. They weren’t that interesting. I was looking for an X-factor in them, something that will make me remember them or refer to the in the future. Other than that, I couldn’t see anything to not like.

I liked this book. While I won’t say that it’s my favorite read of the year, I liked it enough to say that many readers will enjoy and love this book. I have confidence with this book, so I will surely recommend it.
