Review

I received an ARC of this book from InkSlinger PR in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book’s blog tour promotions.

Who doesn’t love a rockstar, right? I don’t always love a rockstar, but I enjoy reading rockstar heroes because they always represent men with good taste in music and a throng of admirers that follow them everywhere.

Wicked White features a rock star who’s looking for something quiet and a girl who’s had a difficult life. At first, the hero tried fihting his attraction to her. He wasn’t successful with that. So what happens when the hero’s rockstar fame finally catches up with them?

For a first book in this new series, Wicked White is a solid beginning. It indtroduces you to the whole arc of the series, including the next installments. The premise of this book is also good. I think that if you’ve read any book from this author, you’d know that her stories are always good, solid, and enjoyable.

While I really liked Wicked White, I still feel like I needed something more from it for me to say that I really fell in love with the book. It was overall a nice read that I had a good time with. However, it did not get me emotionally invested as well, and I guess that’s what I was waiting for. Nevertheless, Michelle A. Valentine is an amazing author that I will not hesitate to read again.
