Review

I received an ARC of this book from Rock Star Lit PR in exchange for an honest review.

Second chances. This is one of my favorite tropes. I always like reading about main characters who get another chance to be together. It doesn’t matter to me why they didn’t get it right the first time. I just like to read how they make things work this time.

Proposing To Preston is a bittersweet second chance romance. Elise, our heroine, broke Preston’s heart. Of course, she knows she made the wrong choice. However, many people have made the same mistake she did. It’s just that between love and career, a lot of people always go after what they worked so hard for, what they think is the only chance to reach their ambitions. Not many people can be so sure and so in love to let themselves and their dreams go and just trust in that love. Elise was like that.

Of course, the best part of the book has to be when they were reunited once again. I liked Preston as a hero. Sometimes, I even this he was too good for the heroine. However, that is the balance of life. Someone always has to be the one who gives more, forgives more, understands more. It’s just nice to see that it’s the hero who had his heart broken this time.

Katy Regnery is, no doubt, a talented author who, once again, manages to present us with a touching and wonderful story about love and dreams and second chances. The first book in this series was a good one. But this book was much better in story. Those Winslow brothers really know how to pick their women. This book is highly recommended.
