Review

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Here we are again with the friends-to-lovers and best friend’s sister trope. There’s also a hint of blackmail involved. Honestly, with this combination, there was no way that the book would be a disappointment. Add that to the fact that this is a Brazen book. Well, you know just how entertaining those books are.

This is my first book from this author. I have to say, I’m surprised that I haven’t read anything from her. When I checked out her other books, they all seemed to be right up my alley. I think I’m going to have to remedy my ignorance of her, after all. I liked this book, and I’m pretty sure I will also like the other books I haven’t read.

Blackmailed By The Hero is quite a fun, light, read that is still sexy without being in-your-face steamy. The main characters are enjoyable to read about. While this is already the second book in the author’s Gone Hollywood series, it is easily read as a standalone. It has all the good things that any romance novel should have.
