Review

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

You know how I loved the Montgomery series from Samantha Chase. I mean, I binge-read that series until the very last book. That goes without saying that when I saw this book being offered on NetGalley, I didn’t hesitate at all and requested access right away.

I have to be honest, though, and sadly say that this book didn’t work quite so well with me as much as I expected it would. It started out great. Aiden was a solid and interesting character that grabbed my attention. As the eldest in a brood of six, he was the one who helped his father hold the family together. The thing is that I almost didn’t finish this book. I just wasn’t sold on the chemistry between the main characters. The hero was okay. However, I really couldn’t connect with him. The heroine wasn’t really very interesting.

Because this isn’t my first book from Ms. Chase, I know that she can do so much better than Made For Us. Therefore, even if I didn’t quite like this book, I will still read the next installments in this series. I will just hope that it will all be get better from here on.
