Review

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Michelle Sharp is an author who’s new to me. What I’ve read so far, was good. I enjoyed this book. It was a light, fun, solid read with likable main characters and interesting secondary characters. I loved that the heroine was a bestselling romance author and that the hero was the CEO of the publishing house she was writing books for.

From the very first scene they had together, they already had chemistry. I liked their back and forth banter and their hot and cold relationship, especially on the hero’s side. I liked the he wasn’t so perfect on that aspect. The secondary characters, the heroine’s agent, the gay book cover model, and the hero’s grandfather all had good contributions to the story.

Plot-wise, the story and the conflict were well played out. I honestly did not stop reading it until I finished. It was really enjoyable. I’m pretty sure I will be checking out this author again in the future because I think this book was a really great work.
