Review

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I’ve read Harlequin Blaze novels before from this author. Her books were hot and entertaining. I liked her Love At First Bite series from that imprint because they were just enough of paranormal and romance and steam combined to keep me happy for the entire book.

When I saw this first book in a new series, I was excited to review this because I liked the arc and the background of the story. Hello, who doesn’t like cowboys, right? Overall, this was a pretty enjoyable read. I, of course, liked the hero. The heroine was okay, but I think her character wasn’t something that blew me away.

While I enjoyed reading this book, I have to be honest and admit that it’s not one of those most memorable books that I can’t see myself moving on from. I liked this book, but I doubt I’d even remember every detail of this book a few weeks from now. However, I will still say that this is a good book, and if I had the next book in my hand right now, I’d still go ahead and pursue this series. After all, it is still a good love story and you really can’t go wrong with cowboys and ranches and everything in between.
