Review

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I really like this series. The first book, Dragon’s Lair, would have to be one of my favorite MC romance novels. It introduced the Wind Dragons members without interfering in the main story. The second book, Arrow’s Hell, was also great, except that I didn’t quite like the heroine. I’ve been waiting for the third book since it was announced.

At first, I was team Allie. I think she was misunderstood and deserved to be taken seriously by the Wind Dragons. When I found out the Lana was going to be Tracker’s heroine, I didn’t know what to expect. Surprisingly, Lana turned out to be a good heroine. It’s weird because she seemed very different from how she was introduced in the second book. The Lana that I got to know in this book seemed to be a completely different character.

I think the romance became easy once it started. Toward the end of the book, something happened that I found to be unbelievable and out of character. Tracker discovered a secret that Lana wasn’t able to tell him. It wasn’t like she kept it because of a malicious reason. It was more like negligence on her part. But Tracker’s reaction seemed over the top for me. And the things that happened after that, well, I kind of thought it wouldn’t be surprising if they didn’t end up together.

All in all, I loved Tracker’s End. However, I have to honestly say that I’ve read better books from this author. I will still recommend this book and this author, of course. However, I strongly hope that if there will be new installments from this series that they be way better than Tracker’s book.
