I received an ARC of this book from Tasty Book Tours in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book’s blog tour promotions.

I love second chance love stories. I especially love it if there is a child involved. It goes without saying that because this book was all about that, I naturally enjoyed it as much as I can expect. This sweet, contemporary romance novel also had the right amount of heartbreak, secrets, and betrayal. I like the town of Fortune’s Island.

There were many things I liked about this book. First, the cover. Don’t you just like it? The colors are vivid, relaxing, and the whole picture just gave off a beach, summer vibe. Who would like that? The next thing I liked was the heroine. I can say she was a brave and strong character. To have made the choice that she did back then required courage and self confidence. She was able to raise a wonderful little girl on her own.

Another thing that I liked was the ambiance. Because of the setting, it gave me a relaxed feeling, so I was never stressed the entire time I spent with the story. I’ll be glad to recommend this book to anyone who want to read something romantic and sweet but also has a good amount of steam.
