Review

I received an ARC of this book from InkSlinger PR in exchange for an honest review and as part of the series’ blog tour promotions.

If I could rate a book based on an author alone, I would give high ratings to all books from Jennifer Probst. I mean, from the very first book I’ve read from her, I became a fan. I liked the way she told stories. They were sexy, easy, filled with family and friends, and romantic. I haven’t read all of her books, but the many I’ve read, I truly loved.

Now, for this series, I already fell in love with the other two books. I liked the friendship between the three heroines. I also liked the men they ended up with. Storme, though, has been the most prominent character for me. After all, she was the one who was about to get married. I loved that I read her story last because it felt like a culmination of everything I’ve read before and everything I already know about the other characters.

This series is really a great summer read. It’s perfect for when you’re hanging out in the beach or by the pool. You get to read the book, turn its pages or even read it from your e-reader, and you will be taken on a vacation that’s luxurious and sinful but all ending with a bang – the love kind of bang.

Once again, Jennifer Probst has shown me exactly why I love her and why I always enjoy her books. The main characters here definitely had chemistry and from the onset, I immediately rooted for them. The fact that this is a quick novella made reading it much better because in no time, I got to finish all three books. Come to think of it, I do wish they were longer because they were just that good.
