I received an ARC of this book from Enticing Journey Book Promotions in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book’s blog tour promotions.

I’ve read some books from C.A. Harms before, and while I liked those books, I’ve always kind of felt like they were just like any other contemporary romance. There was a formula that worked, a romance and chemistry that was injected, and voila! The book is now done. It isn’t until I actually read Ryan’s Love that I knew what the whole fuss was about.

This book was an emotional ride that still ended up giving me this feel-good vibe. So yes, while I was emotionally invested in the story, I still ended the book feeling light and happy and hopeful. I’d have you know that I don’t deal with death that well. Therefore, I truly empathize with the hero losing his wife. If that was me, I don’t know how long it would actually take me to move on, if I ever did.

I think this book was way way up there compared to all other books from this author. I mean, at least that how I personally see it. It’s just that aside from the formulaic romance, this book will surely reach out the the readers heart, squeeze it tight, and then make it all better afterwards. It was a totally good book that I feel fortunate to have read.
