Review

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This edition of Seduced In Secret comes with a short story bonus, so you basically get two stories in one book. Let me start with Seduced in Secret. Honestly, it was a sexy story. Caleb was hot. I’m not sure how the heroine could have friend-zoned him for such a long time. I don’t think I’d ever be that stupid. I mean, I can friend-zone a guy for so long, but I will always feel if that man has feelings for me or not. The heroine was just too clueless.

Overall, it was a pretty entertaining story. However, I find it difficult to believe that a woman can just be in love with somebody all of a sudden after only seeing him as a friend for years and in the middle of a heated back and forth between a mysterious stranger. The fact that she had to “think” about who she really wanted and decided that she wanted the hero, well, that was a downer for me.

The short bonus story, Don’t Walk Ayay, was actually more intriguing. It was also a hot one. I really enjoyed it, and I even wish it was longer. This book is certainly a good one to read if you’re pressed for time but still want to get your hot romance fix. They have a solid story that gets to the point right away without any other complications that delay your gratification.
