I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I think everybody knows that the biggest challenge for paranormal romance authors who are currently starting on a new series is the fact that they have to build a different world and a whole new set of supernatural characters and entities to capture your readers’ attention.

I think this is the best thing about Starry Knight. As a first book in a new series, the author successfully created a world where you get to knwo new sets of supernatural beings and situations. Also, she was able to introduce the series plot without taking away from the main story of this book.

However, there were some things about the main characters that i couldn’t get myself to completely love. The heroine would have been okay except that there were instances when she can be frustrating. The hero was okay too, but didn’t really stand out for me. Regardless of my complaints, though, Starry Knight is still a solid book that has gotten me invested enough to want to pursue the whole series. I will surely be looking forward to more books from this series and this author.
