Review

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book was cute. I mean, cute may not be the best word to describe the hero. I just can’t help that feel this way about the book. It was a cute story. Sweet. Lovely. Fun. I have read from Cathryn Fox before, so I know what her books are like. Sexy, steamy, sweet, and always romantic. Slow Ride is a sweet story about two people who have always wanted each other but thought they the other wasn’t interested.

The hero is a great character, and there was no question that he and the heroine were meant to be. The heroine herself was someone that any reader would easily want to know. While this story is actually simple, and the plot has been used and recyled many times, the author still manages to capture any reader’s interest throughout the entire book. It’s a light, quick read, but it will surely provide hours of escapism and entertainment.

The best thing I love about Brazen books is that they are quick reads. I can easily finish them in less than a day. If I am so engrossed in the story, I can even read an entire book overnight. I believe that Slow Ride is among those Brazen books that are a cut above the rest. I would definitely recommend this, and I will be excitedly waiting for the other installments.
