I received an audio copy of this book from Barclay Publicity in exchange for an honest review.

I always picture shifters as werewolves or other big cats. I don’t always picture a bear shifter. I think it’s because I love stuffed toys, and I always have a bear stuffed toy. Therefore, I don’t always picture a bear as a wild thing, even if they actually are really wild. Anyway, the hero of this short book is a bear shifter. Let me tell you, not once did I picture a soft and fluffy stuffed bear with this hero.

I haven’t read anything from this author before. Surprisingly, I quite enjoyed this story. It was short, but it gave a complete story that I liked listening to. The narrator did a good job. Even the parts that focused on the heroine, it didn’t sound awkward. I might actually continue on with this series if a second book ever comes out.
