Review

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

You won’t understand how much I was hoping for this book to work out. I mean, Bella Jewel is one of my favorite authors and my go-to authors when it comes to MC romance novels. However, I haven’t been such a fan of the past couple of books she released. There was Rainer who I was so excited to read about and ended up disappointing me big time. Then, there was Raide’s book which was an improvement but wasn’t really something I’d remember for a long time.

Then there’s this book, Hard To Break. Finally, here’s something I sincerely enjoyed. Sure, I hated Taz the first 25% of the book, but he redeemed himself in a really grand way. It may have been a bit too insta-love-ish, but I actually liked it. I couldn’t even put it down the moment I started it. Here’s the sad thing, not everybody may actually love this book as much as I did. The story was simple. The main characters weren’t larger than life. There were some things that weren’t really resolved. However, it is light, hot, sexy, and sweet in the right places, so I am one happy reader.

I hope that the third book will be as good. Actually, I hope the third book will be even better. I know just how raw and gritty Ms. Jewel’s books can be, and those are the books that I love from her. Therefore, even if a book or two puts me off once in a while, there are still books from her that I don’t get tired going back to. I will look forward to reading the third book, and I hope it will be another awesome story from her.
