Review

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I love contemporary romance novels. I just love the fact that they’re so near real life and the stories and characters are very relatable. That being said, Marina Adair is a solid enough name in this genre. I’ve read some books from her before, and I enjoyed them all.

I wasn’t able to read the first book in this series, but this book can be read on its own. Like all other books from this author, I also enjoyed this book. The characters were okay. It may have taken awhile to get to the romantic part where they were okay with having a relationship with each other, but that’s fine. I only care about happy endings, anyway.

I can’t say that I was blown away by this book. This is a good read for when you want something clean and sweet and still entertain you enough while you want to pass the time away. I may have just been looking for something more intense, more passionate, and that’s on me. Regardless, this author is really good when it comes to writing love stories, so I will still recommend this book without a doubt.
