Review

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Here we are in the fourth and final book of the Immortal Brothers series. I have read this book from the very beginning, and while I had hesitations in the first book, I’ve always found the main story arc to be unique and interesting. I am so happy that I kept on reading until the very end. I mean, I think this fourth book is the best one in the series.

Our heroine is a skilled thief. You know how I like a kickass heroine. Our hero is an imperfect man who only wants to be free. You also know how I loved flawed heroes. The chemistry between the main characters wasn’t immediately evident, at least that’s how I felt. However, as the book went on, I slowly got hooked into the story and the romance.

I think that Jacquelyn Frank did a wonderful job in closing out this series. This book was able to neatly wrap up the entire series, and I just love when that happens. It’s a little sad that the series has come to its end, but it’s also a great thing to have it end on this note.
