Review

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

We have a geeky fighter with this book. I have read many MMA books before, but I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a hero like the one in this book. I mean, he was geeky, sexy but still geeky (at least that’s how he seems to me). He’s wealthy, and he seems to belong to another kind of book. But here were are, and he’s an MMA fighter. Anyway, I like that contradiction.

This isn’t my first book from this author or this series. The first book I read was Laid Out, and I enjoyed that book. I haven’t had a chance to read or review the other earlier books; however, I find that I liked both books I’ve read, so I might really have to find the time to go back to the first books and read them as soon as I can.

Here’s the thing, this probably isna’t going to be the best MMA themed romance novel you’ll read. I have to admit that I’ve read better books than Fighting Dirty. However, the author has successfully accomplished what, I believe, she set out doing, and that is to entertain her readers and give them a good story in a book that they can get lost in.
