I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I don’t remember “opposites attract” to be such an entertaining notion, at least until I read this book. You have to admit that the hero’s need for control was no match for the heroine’s unpredictability. And that’s a good thing. Everybody needs to let loose sometimes, and everybody also needs a little control and discipline in their lives. In this case, the main characters’ contradictory personalities actually worked the best for them.
This is a sweet and fun book to read. It is easy to love the heroine because she was different from any other female main characters. I think she was the star of the book. I liked the hero, too, but I’m sure if he had another heroine, I wouldn’t have liked it as much. On the other hand, if the heroine had another hero, I would still love her the same way because she was great to read.
This is actually my first book from this author, and I am pleasantly surprised to have enjoyed the book this much. If I find a new book from her in the future, I’d be sure to pick it up as well.
