Review

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was a very fast read. I think it only took me less than two hours to finish the novella. Anyway, I enjoyed it, but I wish that it could have been made into a full length book and that the story was polished further to make it even more interesting. As it was, the story was too much of the insta-love variety. I’m all for love at first sight, but I felt that the bond between the main characters were too rushed. Maybe it was meant that way, and my whole point was that I would have wanted it not to be meant that way.

All in all, it was still an enjoyable book, even if there were parts of it that I didn’t like. First, what’s with the knoghthood? I couldn’t distinguish if the hero was just joking or if he was for real. If he was for real, I felt like it didn’t have any significance in the story. So, I’d rather interepret it as him trying to make a joke. If you’ve followed the series, you might as well read this book because this is Grace’s story. However, I’d have to say that the other three books were far much better.
