Synopsis

Ivy Mason is no stranger to trouble—though so far she’s always managed to outrun or outsmart it. Now a nasty man-made virus and an FBI manhunt have her desperate for a cure and on the run for her freedom. Even her romance with British secret agent Devon Clay may have deadly consequences, placing her squarely in the crosshairs of a shadowy international assassin, Vega.

Devon is determined to take Vega out, but first he must make sure beautiful Ivy is out of danger. When she escapes FBI custody, the couple rekindles their passion and sets off on a pulse-pounding adventure across the United States and around the globe. En route, Ivy and Devon discover new truths about their nemeses—revelations that will test the limits of their love.

Review

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I’ve been excited for this conclusion ever since I read the first book. This serial is my first from Tiffany Snow, and I loved her as soon as I finished book 1. I enjoyed Devon and Ivy’s story and every installment just made me more excited for this last book. As it is, Out Of The Shadows is a great way to end the love story. I’ve been rooting for them ever since their very first scene together. I didn’t care at all for the best friend or for the FBI agent who tried to win her too.

I guess my favorite thing in this series is the romance. I wasn’t a big fan of the ending. I think that the main antagonist should have had a more brutal ending. I didn’t want her to get what she got. I don’t want to get into specifics because I don’t want to spoil the story for the others who haven’t read it yet. What I can say, though, is that I liked how Ivy and Devon got their HEA, but I wish the main antagonist got a bloody ending.

Also, I have to mention that the side story about the CIA agent and the former Shadow agent who helped Devon was interesting. Anyway, I truly loved this series. Book 2 would be my favorite, but books 1 and 3 are also really great. This may be my first from Ms. Snow, but I will surely be on the lookout for her.

Author

Tiffany attended the University of Missouri – Columbia, attaining two degrees in History and Social Studies Education. After working many years as an instructor and consultant in the Information Technology field, Tiffany now writes full-time.

Tiffany loves to read and has been reading romance novels since she was way too young to read such things. She has an unhealthy obsession for all things Doctor Who, prefers Pepsi to Coke and Absolut to both, thinks men who drink girly cocktails are wusses, has learned to never stop believing in her beloved St. Louis Cardinals, and can recite the entire scripts of When Harry Met Sally and Apollo 13. George Washington is cool, Bon Jovi still rocks the house, and Bruce Willis is the ultimate alpha-male hero.

Married with two wonderful daughters, Tiffany and her family make their home in Kansas City, Missouri, not far from where she was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri.
