I received an ARC of this book from TRSOR in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book’s blog tour promotions.

I remember binge reading the Gypsy Brothers series. For the longest time, I tried putting it off. The series sat in my Kindle for a long time because I got too afraid to read it. The thing was, I like dark stories. But I wanted them as standalones, or as duologies at most. I didn’t want to be too invested to read an entire serial like the Gypsy Brothers was, and I had seven books to read. However, the moment I started Seven Sons, I knew I wouldn’t be able to stop until I got to the very end.

Zero Hour is now Jace and Juliette’s story. This is how their life became after Dornan died. Of course, they were all still on the run, being chased by the MC and the cartel, not being able to trust many people. Most of all, they had their own trauma to live through. It seemed like Dornan was still ruling over all of them even from the grave. Dornan’s character has always been dark and compelling. I liked him at times, but I absolutely hated him too. I think I was just like Juliette who loved Dornan before he did what he did to her.

Jace and Juliette both have long to go before they can go back to normal, and at this point, I don’t think they will ever be normal at all. I definitely loved this conclusion to the series. I don’t know if I have a favorite among the eight installments. It feels like they all come together as one explosive story in one very long book. If you followed the Gypsy Brothers at all, you should certainly get this book. This is the best ending I could ever think of for Jason and Juliette.

I don’t even stop to see what kind of furniture the room consists of. I throw Juliette on the floor and pounce on her like I’m a lion and she’s my catch.

My dick’s inside her within three seconds of the door closing, even though its dark in here, the only light from a couple of candles throwing off weak light. It could be the middle of the day and I wouldn’t have a clue, because all I can see is Juliette Portland underneath me, her legs spread and her pussy full of me. I put my hands around her neck. I want to squeeze. I want to choke her so fucking badly. Goddamn it! I stop grinding my cock into her. I just stop.

“I don’t want to hurt you,” I whisper in the dark. “Julz, the things I used to do in this place—I used to hurt people and get off on it. I don’t want to hurt you, baby.”

She reaches up and grabs hold of my face; I can just make out her eyes, her pupils almost swallowing any trace of green.

“Jase,” she breathes, “What if I want you to hurt me?”
