One shy lost soul.
One silent lonely heart.
One love to save them both.

Life has never been easy for twenty-year-old Levi Carillo. The youngest of the Carillo boys, Levi is nothing like his older brothers. He isn’t dark in looks or intimidating to everyone he meets. In fact, he’s quite the opposite. Haunted by a crippling shyness and the tragic events of his past, Levi spends his days with his head buried in his books, or training hard for his college football team. Too timid to talk to girls, Levi stays as far away as possible and completely on his own… until he saves the life of a troubled pretty blonde, a troubled pretty blonde that might just be the exception to his rule.

Elsie Hall is homeless. Or at least that’s all anyone ever sees. Everyday is a fight for survival on the cold streets of Seattle, everyday a struggle to find food and keep warm. Alone in life—a life that’s dangerous and cruel—her will to keep going is an ever-losing battle. In her world of silence, Elsie has given up hope that her life will contain anything but constant struggle and pain… until the beautiful boy she has severely wronged comes to her rescue at precisely the right time.

I received an ARC of this book from Have Book Will Read in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book’s blog tour promotions.

I love Tillie Cole. She is my queen when it comes to books. There is nto a single book from her that I did not love. I have many favorite authors, but she probably has the top spot all to herself. Unlike my other favorite, KA, Tillie’s characters are never interchangeable. Her stories are not formulaic. Every book is different. Every plot is unpredictable. Just when you thought you knew what the book was all about, Ms. Cole will surprise you with her twists and turns.

I loved the Sweet Home series ever since Molly bumped into Rome on her first day at the unversity. Since then, I’ve devoured every series installment as if there was no tomorrow. The Carillo brothers are among my favorite heroes for all times. I loved Sweet Hope, and I really thought the brothers’ story ended with Axel. Therefore, reading Sweet Soul was such a treat for me. I initially didn’t see just how Levi’s story would come in, but once again, Ms. Cole delivers the best kind of story for this youngest Carillo.

I cannot recommend this book enough. In fact, I cannot recommend Tillie Cole enough. I wish the whole world got to read at least one book from her because they’ll all become a fan right away. She’s addictive, and there’s always something for everybody in any of her series. Anyway, Sweet Soul is yet another gem in her crown. I love her as an author, and I love the books she she’s written. They are truly big gifts to readers like me.

Amazon & USA Today Best Selling Author, Tillie Cole is a Northern girl through and through. She originates from a place called Teesside on that little but awesomely sunny (okay I exaggerate) Isle called Great Britain. She was brought up surrounded by her English rose mother — a farmer’s daughter, her crazy Scottish father, a savagely sarcastic sister and a multitude of rescue animals and horses.
