Her time is over.
Things are looking up.

She’s dirty and ugly.
He’s wicked but handsome.

Six months to toy with her.
Six months of vacation and a ton of money.

I’ll hurt her beyond repair.
I’ve been through much worse.

She’s difficult to control and doesn’t obey.
I’m done submitting to anyone or anything in this life.

I should hate her.
I should hate him.

The game has changed.
I will win.

Dirty Ugly Toy is a novel that blurs the lines of right and wrong, deals with abuse, contains dubious consent, and adult subject matter. If you are sensitive to violent sexual situations, the book may not be suitable for you. Some parts of this book are not easy to read and are not intended for everyone. However, those that keep an open mind and stick with it will not be disappointed.

I received an ARC of this book from IndieSage PR in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book’s blog tour promotions.

This isn’t my first K. Webster book, but this is my first book from her of this genre. I was a little hesitant because I lover her contemporary romances, and I wasn’t sure if I’d like this book as well. However, the blurb was very interesting, and I just couldn’t pass on it. Turns out, I made the right decision. Dirty Ugly Toy is a very good dirty and ugly love story between a toy and a master who both her their own demons.

Sometimes, love is not about finding the person who purges us from our demons. Rather, it is about finding that person whose own demons can live with ours. I’ve said it again and again. The reason why I love dark romances is because I truly believe that love is not only for the clean and the good and the beautiful. Love is also for the monsters, the twisted minds, the bad and the ugly. In this case, both Bunny and Braxton may have the darkest of demons, but that doesn’t mean they don’t get to fall in love anymore.

I like how this book pushed past boundaries of any normal reader. If dark erotica isn’t your usual style, I think you’d best start with this book because it may be dark, but there is a significance to the darkness in the story and the characters. This book shows us the impacts a bad childhood can have on children when they grow up. I loved this book. I’ve loved K. Webster before, but I can say now that I am truly a fan because I now know just how versatile her writing can be.
