Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be held hostage by an Italian stallion?

My name is Clara, and I am part-owner of a brothel called “The Castle.” My empire is my home which I’ve worked hard to build a life from. A future. But one day, the infamous Luca Belatoni stepped into my office and demanded that I pay him protection money.

Of course, I refused.
Of course, he wouldn’t take no for an answer.

Now he is in my castle—holding me hostage. Trying to control my mind in business and my body in bed. Neither of which I will allow. No matter how much his caramel eyes and Italian words of love puncture my hardened heart.

So, being the hostage of an Italian stallion pretty much sucks.
Because this man is a force to be reckoned with.
And while I am not frightened for my life,
I am definitely frightened for my heart.

If you don’t like dominating, overbearing arseholes, please do not read.
If you don’t like jealous and possessive men, please do not read.
If you do like all of the above, then please read.

I received an ARC of this book from SBB Promotions in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book’s blog tour promotions.

I always enjoy Jaimie Roberts’ books. There’s a certain darkness to them that I love. I think my first book of her was Deviant, and I loved that book. I’ve read other stalker romance books after Deviant, but none of them could even come close to the thrill and dangerously delicious vibe that Ms. Roberts had with her book. I admit that I haven’t quite read the last couple of releases she had. However, when I saw that she was about to release this book, I immediately jumped on the chance to read and review it.

Luca is a book that centers on the romance between Clara and Luca. Mind you, neither one of them are upstanding citizens of society. However, nobody ever said love was only for the clean ones. I like that both main characters were far from perfect. Luca was your typical alpha male, but he had his hands full with Clara because she wasn’t a weak woman. The chemistry between the main characters was great to read. This book ends in a cliffhanger, so if that’s not your thing, I suggest you wait until the serial is complete. However, I would like to point out that this is a great sizzling romance that any reader will enjoy.
