Synopsis

Even by Wind Dragon Motorcycle Club standards, Irish was always a bit of a dark horse. Not one to confide his secrets, such as where he got that mysterious scar across his neck, he’s quick with his fists and even quicker to jump to the defense of his MC. But is he nimble enough to handle the woman he never saw coming? Or will she leave him with a matching scar across his heart?

Review

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I followed the Wind Dragons MC because I loved Dex and Faye. As far as I’m concerned, they’re the best couple in the series. I was actually waiting for Rake’s book, and I was surprised this book came out first. It’s not that I don’t like Irish. It’s just that Rake’s story was far more exciting. Anyway, this book is jsut a short one, so I guess I still get to wait around for the next full length story.

When I said that Dex and Faye is my favorite couple, it actually means that the next books that came out wasn’t as much fun for me as the first one. Arrow’s book was great, but it took awhile for me to like the heroine. Tracker’s book was just okay. I didn’t like the heroine as well, but Tracker himself wasn’t any better. This book, though, this is another okay read. I liked Irish, but the romance was too much of an insta-love thing. I have nothing against it, but I just felt like the heroine was just a horny single woman who went after the first guy who turned her on.

I am hoping the next book will be far far better than the last three books. I like the stories on the Wind Dragons. I just have a hard time loving the characters as much. Anyway, if you’ve read this series, you shouldn’t miss this installment because it’s a good way to reconnect with these MC characters. Also, Faye gets a significant exposure here, so I am happy.
