He’ll do anything to stop her, even return to town … even put his heart in jeopardy again.

I received an ARC of this book from Barclay Publicity in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book’s release day promotions.
Artists. I don’t think I’ve read many books where the one or both of the main characters was an artist. That’s why this book really intrigued me. I wanted to see how the author was going to incorporate the details of the hero’s life with the development of the love story. Also, I haven’t read anything from this authot before, so this first book in the series sounded like a good place to start.
As it turns out, I really enjoyed reading this book. Sure, it’s not as great or awe-inspiring as my favorite novels, but it entertained me just the same. I like the fact that both characters were passionate about things that were important to them. I liked the small family that the secondary characters provided. I liked it a lot that I immediately moved on tot he second book as soon as I finished this one. I think this has the makings of a solid, unforgettable series, and I’m excited to read more.
