Fall in love with Sam Braden in the Bradens of Peaceful Harbor. Hot, sexy, & wickedly naughty second cousins to the Weston, Colorado Bradens we know and love.

Physician assistant Faith Hayes escaped her painful past and built a safe, happy life in Peaceful Harbor. She’s also put what she’s learned to good use helping others by founding Women Against Cheaters, an online support group. When her boss’s sinfully sexy brother sets his sights on sweet Faith, she knows the self-professed player is everything she shouldn’t want, and she’s determined to resist him.
Sam pulls out all the stops, proving to Faith that his past doesn’t have to define his future. As she lets down her guard and begins to trust Sam, intense conversations turn to intimate pleasures. But when real life steps in and their pasts collide, it’s Faith who’s left with something to prove.

In my eyes, I don’t think Ms. Foster could every write a bad book. I think she has mediocre books, but even that is just my opinion and is certainly up for debate. I mean, ever since the first book I read from her, I immediately became a fan. I loved the way her main characters are very easy to like, relate to, and root for. This book is no different from any other MF book I’ve read, because there’s the chemistry, emotion, and development present in the plot, as with every book from her.

River Of Love follows the trope that the player is usually the one who falls the fastest and the hardest. This was the hero. He was a player, to be honest. But the moment he found the one woman for him, he went out of his way to win her. He became this sweet, romantic man whose heart was out there for the taking. The heroine had no chance. Then again, just because the hero was the former player doesn’t mean he’s going to be the one to break the heroine’s heart, right?

I really liked the conflict and the high point of the story. Of course, I also loved how MF’s secondary characters also grab a reader’s attention. These characters aren’t there just to complete the story. No, the also have a significant part to the plot itself. I really enjoyed River Of Love. If I wasn’t a fan of Ms. Foster before, I definitely am one now.

I am a proud fan of Melissa Foster. Even so, I won’t tell you that all her books are perfeect, because I have to admit that there are some books that I liked but did not love, However, I can definitely say that while I did not love every book, I certainly enjoyed all of them. Ms. Foster writes some of the most relatable characters. In all of the books I read from her, I always loved the way it was easy for me, as a reader, to connect to her characters. That’s because she writes about ordinary people who can easily be me, you, or people we all know.

This book, Claimed by Love, was something that excited me since I got an ARC for it. I loved the blurb. I was looking forward to reaing about the island and just why the heroine loved it, other than the fact that’s it’s part of her family history. I was also excited to see how the romance between the main characters would develop, given that they had a conflict of interest. I can say that if there was an author who could make a sweet story like this such a hit, it would be Ms. Foster. I definitely loved this book. I even think the Ryders may even be my favorite bunch in this long runing series.

Review

I received an ARC of this book from Tasty Book Tours in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book’s blog tour promotions.

Second chance romance. Now here’s another trope that I absolutely love, aside from the friends-to-lovers theme. We are now in the fourth book of the Wild Boys After Dark series. I must say that I was initially intrigued by this series because this is probably the first racier books from Melissa Foster. Knowing her, I knew that the series would be a hit, and that I’d at least like them. I didn’t think I’d love all four books, which is, of course, a great thing because it solidified the author’s brand. I mean, she’s not just here for your sweet, new adult contemporary romance. She can write the steamier stuff too.

Cooper’s book was, for me, the most emotional. Maybe it’s personal because I always get emotionally involved when there is a child involved in the love story. I loved Logan and his alpha-ness. I adored Heath and his sexy intelligence. I enjoyed Jackson and his nonchalance. Now, with Cooper, I have to say that he’s also a great hero too. And of course, I always have a thing for the artistic souls.

This is the best way to end the series. I mean, no offense to the other three brothers, but I really believe that from the first book up to now, Ms. Foster has escalated the emotional attachment that readers get with her characters. When Logan had his book, we were ll still getting to know them. He was a perfect first book because he was too male and too alpha to grab any readers attention and make them want to continue with the series. Heath and Jackson’s book were meant to significantly tighten the pull that the series has to the readers. Until finally, with this book, it is an explosion of everything that was good about this series. Once again, Ms. Foster delivers, and I’m so glad I got to read this entire series.

Review

I received an ARC of this book from Tasty Book Tours in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book’s blog tour promotions.

So, this review is quite difficult for me to write because I am torn between loving this book and just “liking” it. I know there shouldn’t be any middle ground, but I can’t help it. Let me start first with the fact that I love the friends-to-lovers trope. I could read as many books with the friends-to-lovers theme and still not get bored with all the variations that can happen to the stories. Aside from that, I also love Melissa Foster’s books. Those two facts alone should guarantee that I love this book, right?

Here’s the part that makes me hesitant: I couldn’t get a lock on the relationship between the heroine and her supposedly “boyfriend”. I am sure that he is a nice, almost perfect guy and all, but I couldn’t reconcile the fact that he’d let his woman, one he asked to marry, go on her annual camping trip with the hero, one he knows has a complicated relationship with her. Okay, maybe that was a good thing because it just showed that he and the heroine weren’t right for each other and that the real conflict was between the main characters and their push and pull kind of relationship. That’s the only thing I wasn’t completely down with in this book.

However, everything else was great, as always. I think Jackson is probably the wildest out of the Wild brothers. Then again, I still have a fourth book to read. Well, I think that aside from the weird relationship that the heroine had with the men in her life, this book was hot, a little kinky, and still a lot sweet. Therefore, I guess I should say that I am happy, and I loved it. I am excited for the fourth book, and I’m already wishing there are more installments. Maybe a novella that would feature all Wild boys with the HEAs or something. Oh well, one can only hope.

Review

I received an ARC of this book from Tasty Book Tours in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book’s blog tour promotions.

Yesterday, on this blog, I reviewed Logan, the first book in Melissa Foster’s Wild Boys After Dark series, and I truly liked that book. It was racier than any MF book I’ve read before. And, let’s be honest, the hotter books are always my favorite. Today, I am going to review Heath, which is the second book in the series.

Doctor. Bachelor. Hot. That’s your hero. I mean, who wouldn’t want to land a guy like that, right? So right from the get go, I already knew that the main characters’ scheme of having just one night with each other was never going to work. I’ve read books like this before. One of them always starts wanting more. The thing about this book is that while you already know where things are going to end, you will still stick around to witness the journey.

This was a quick read for me, as there pretty much wasn’t a lot of complications to start with. However, those few hours that I spent devouring every page was well worth it because I had an awesome time with the characters. I am also looking forward to the third book, which I am sure will be another sexy and romantic story.
