When it comes to contemporary romance novels, I have to say that Tessa Bailey’s name is among the top of my list. Whether it’s a BDSM-themed book, a sexy action romance, or heroes who love to talk dirty, she always entertains me with her stories. Crashed Out is no different. I am not really a fan of older woman/younger man stories, but I make an exception for amazing writers like Ms. Bailey. As it turns out, I am not wrong in this.

Crashed Out is sweet, sexy, and even funny at times. The heroine is older than the hero, but any reader wouldn’t even get to focus on that fact. What you would gravitate to as a reader was the obvious chemistry between the main characters, the smooth character development that happens throughout the book, and the swoonworthy things that the hero does to win the girl.

I am also not a fan of rockstar heroes, but this hero is different from any rockstar you meet in fiction. He’s a good guy whos fame didn’t blow his ego too much. I think Crashed Out is a good way to start the series. It gets you hooked into the story and makes you look forward to more stories at the same time. I will really be on the lookout for more books from this series and from Ms. Bailey herself.

I read Preyfinders because a review copy was offered in NetGalley. I have read books from Cari Silverwood before, but I have to say that the Preyfinders series was my favorite. I love Sci Fi Romance, so I enjoyed the Preyfinders because it was different from a lot of other SFR I’ve read. When I was offered the chance to read Cyberella, I immediately took it. This book is still in the Preyfinders unvicerse, although Ella and Torgeir’s story stands on its own.

I liked Cyberella because it was more into the kinky side instead of the dark side. It’s still a fast paced story even if it wasn’t as action oriented that the Preyfinders. The main characters were both enjoyable characters to read. The world-building was amazing, although it’s a universe that a lot of readers are already familiar with. I already love the Sci Fi Romance genre, and I already like Cari silverwood’s books. However, with me reading the Preyfinders series and Cyberella, I have to say that Ms. Silverwood will be on my watch list from now on.

If you don’t like the DD/lg dunamics in a relationship, then this book and this series is not for your. However, if you haven’t tried something like this and would like to, then you can start with this book. This is the fourth book in the series, but it’s a good starting place for new readers because it has the best story out of the four books in the series.

The first three books, for me, were centered too much on the sex and the DD/lg relationship. Becoming Daddy’s Girl has hot sex, the DD/lg dynamics, sizzling dominance and submission scenes that all come hand in hand with a story that was sweet and touching. Our hero is a good man who was unappreciated. Our heroine is a good girl who was in love with the hero for a long time. I think this is my favorite book in the series.

Reading Order [book-series]

Book 1 – Daddy Morebucks

Book 2 – Daddy’s Game

Book 3 – Poor Little Daddy’s Girl

Book 4 – Becoming Daddy’s Girl

I don’t actually have to say this, but I have read every book in this series. I would still say that Silence and Mickey’s story is my favorite. However, I’ve also loved and enjoyed every other book. Wicked Intentions was my first book from Ms. Hoyt, and as soon as I finished that book, I was already a fan. That’s why I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to read and review this book as well.

Sweetest Scoundrel is Asa Makepeace’s story. If you remember, he is one of the Makepeace children, brother to Temperance, silence, and Winter. He’s the one who’s almost always absent. He is more known by the name of Mr. Harte because of his pleasure garden. I wouldn’t have seen Eve Dinwoody as his heroine, but I love the way the story was played out. I may have been hesitant with Eve at first, but she easily won me over.

One thing I liked about this book was the fact that there was also the mystery surrounding Montgomery and his absence after the things he did in the eighth book. I am excited because the next book is his story, and it sounded very interesting. I truly love this series. There may have been installments that seemed lackluster to me, but all in all I always enjoy reading any installment from this series.
